Fringed 2-Color Stranded PO

This piece was inspired by images of a Chanel jacket with unfinished edges combined with an iconic graphic print in Prada's Spring ’96 collection.  I knit it from the center out, allowing the stranded color work to invoke the Prada print and the fringed edges at the neckline and hem, the Chanel jacket. For you knitters out there—I knitted each side of the body in the round, from the center out, then cut the steek and made fringe to create the unfinished edges. I love using  construction quirks as design details.
